Belair Town II Townhouse Association was established in 1969 in Bowie, MD.  The association consists of 150 town houses which are privately owned.

The entrance to Belair Town II Townhomes are off Race Track Road, near the intersection of Race Track Road and Annapolis Road (Route 450).

  • Belair Town II is within walking distance of Hilltop Shopping Center and Freestate Shopping Center.  It is less than 1 mile away from construction of a large new open shopping area (previously a mall), and only 3 miles from Bowie Town Center.  Bowie’s sister city, Crofton, is a short drive away and offers further dining and retail options.
  • Belair Town II is currently districted for Yorktown Elementary School (K-5), Samuel Ogle Middle School (6-8), and Bowie High School (9-12).  It is conveniently located within 4 miles of Bowie State University.
  • Belair Town II is public transit accessible by Metro Bus, and access to MARC trains (Penn Line to Baltimore or Washington, DC) is approximately a 10 minute drive.  Free parking is available at the MARC station.
  • Belair Town II receives public water and sewage service, as well as trash, recycle, and yard waste pickup.

Important Community Notice on Trash Pickup and Removal

The HOA recommends that when residents put out garbage and recyclables for pickup, they take a minute or two and look around their immediate surrounding, reserved parking space and common area and pick up litter/empty bottles/cups etc, perhaps blown there by the wind and put in the trash and recycle receptacles for pickup. This will help a long way to keep the community free from trash. Thank you.

Another vote for our election will be held at 7:00 pm in the Senior Center, Classroom 2. We need to elect a new President and Treasurer to keep the HOA running and dues afforable. This HOA runs soley from volunteer efforts from the neighborhood.

You can obtain a copy of the application and proxy ballot here. We ask that if you cannot attend the meeting in person to please email a signed proxy so that we may obtain enough votes to make the election official per our bylaws.

Scheduled Parking Space Restriping

The remaining parking space restriping is scheduled for

Saturday October 18, 2025 7:00 am

The spots will be done in the following order:

  1. Racetrack Road
  2. Marquette Lane (even side)
  3. Marquette Lane (odd side from 13001-13011)
  4. Morningside Lane (odd side)
  5. Minetta Lane
  6. Morningside Lane (even side 3628-3642)
  7. Midsummer Lane (odd side)

Work crew is expected to arrive early around 7am so be kind to move vehicles out of the way preferably the night before. Thank you.

Parking Space Restriping and Repair

The parking spots on the odd side of Marquette Lane are being repaired and the whole neighborhood is being restriped

Please avoid parking in any of the parking spots from Monday Septermber 29nd – Friday October 3rd from 8 am to 5 pm

BOARD OF DIRECTORS ELECTION

Salutations! The board will be having its annual election at our September 29th meeting. The following positions are currently vacant:

PRESIDENT

Duties:

  1. Preside at all meetings of the Board of Directors.
  2. See that orders and resolutions of the Board are carried out.
  3. Reviews and approves all agreements, contracts, and insurance policies held by the Association.
  4. Maintain contact with the City of Bowie Code Enforcement and vendors of the HOA as needed.
  5. Maintain and respond to HOA email box.

TREASURER

Duties:

  1. Preside at all meetings of the Board of Directors
  2. Send monthly notices for dues.
  3. Receive and deposit in appropriate bank accounts all monies of the Association.
  4. Record payments received through Square.
  5. Report any delinquent account to the HOA’s lawyer.
  6. Disburse such funds as directed by resolution of and in the manner prescribed by the Board.
  7. Keep proper books of account.
  8. Prepare an annual budget.

HOA Meeting May 2025 Cancelled

The HOA meeting scheduled for Monday, May 26, 2025 has been cancelled in observance of Memorial Day. We encourage everyone to take this time to honor and remember those who have served our country.
