s can be purchased and used for larger amounts. We’ve found them in Bowie at Home Depot, Lowe’s, Safeway, and Target. Please remember that yard waste cannot be included with your regular trash, nor can it be put in blue recycling bins or carts.

This change applies only to yard waste.  Trash may still be put in plastic bags.  Questions about this change or about yard waste collection in general should be directed to the City of Bowie Public Works Department at 301-809-2344 or email publicinfo@cityofbowie.org.

  1. This is some really good information about removing waste from your yard. It is cool that you can put them in recyclable bags. I have always wanted a live Christmas tree, but I never knew how I would get rid of it. So, it is good to know that services like this one can also get rid of big things like a Christmas tree.
